Kenyas' Emergency Services......a police woman reluctantly scrolls through her ...phone as a man sits helpless after his feet were crashed by a pickup loaded with people attending a funeral . What can be done to improve the emergency services in Kenya?.
Many of the deaths that occur after an accident or disaster could easily be avoided if measure are put into place to deal with the situation, but the gorverment and Municiple Councils are too reluctunt to prioritise these issues.

It's not just the emergency services, it's the whole of Kenya. There is a dog eat dog attitude. Kenya(ns) need a complete overhaul. Customer services and basic manners need to be taught as mandatory in school!!

We need good leaders who care human rights. She is supposed to be punished.
By the look of it the police in question was on scene. her uniform suggests she is a traffic police officer not a Doc or a nurse. With phone handy suggests she could be asking for assistance with relevance to the young man.Again other road ...users had to use the road and its her job to make sure that happens smoothly. To me she is at the right place.on the road sio kwa hotel. the guy is safe with other pple around him who could be 1st aiders than the cop wearing uniform.

I thought traffic police are always equipped to offer first aid rather than members of the public .....I should event think the guy holding the phone had just grabbed it from this guy...I don't understand how you offer First Aid by just standing and looking.Could be the officer was running away from the situation by keeping herself busy. Retraining officers should be the first thing that needs done.

i miss the point. Red cross have the best emergency services that i know.our greatest undoing is public ignorance - few of us have ever bothered to know their contacts
