To register a SACCO, you have to contact Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) which license and regulate SACCOS. First apply for a license with necessary documents as requested. Then send a letter of intent, the necessary arrangement of premises, management, Policies, procedures and security among other important operational planning. Then onsite inspection will be followed by letter of compliance if you are successful and this will make your SACCO legal.
