That’s right; our relationship with food is more complicated than our love life.

We find ourselves stressed up about what we want rather than what we need. Normally what we want is bad for us and what we need is tasteless and has no side effects to the body. To get the strength to buy and consume what we need is a test of character.

Weight loss tragedy is buying foods you do not want to eat. Diet, in most cases end up failing because the food we buy to lose weight gives us no pleasure to consume! Broccoli? Yuk!,..I am nibbling on Doritos as I write this, but the apple is still in my bag, yet I am on diet! Well, I am still battling weight issues, four years down the line and still blaming pregnancy weight gain!
Many like me, lack commitment to an eating and exercise plan that will enhance long term results. Weight gain is linked to many factors and if we learn to control the factors, then it will be easier to maintain an admirable weight! Watch out, some think admirable weight is stick thin but no, that is a health hazard on its own right.
Why do French women stay thin? With all their love of wine, cheese and butter, their carbohydrates? It’s all in their chosen lifestyle, they eat all but moderately (small portions), their exercise plans are incorporated in their daily routines like walking. Yes, we too can have sexy bodies if we make it a long term plan, which will involve change in what we eat and how we eat, and exercise plans too.
I know, sometimes having what you did not have as a poor child could results to binge eating, it’s a psychological state, that what your mum said no to is what you crave! What your doctor said no to is your pleasure! What the pastor said no to is under the bed!
Saying this, there is an increase of obesity. Children and mothers are more prone to the fresh trend of just gaining weight without control.
